Besides working for 5AM Ventures and other companies, the personal contributions of Dr. Scott Rocklage cannot go unnoticed. Within his 3 decades career, he spearheaded the approval of the various New Drugs Application including Onmiscam, Cubicin, and Teslascan by the FDA.

Additionally, he has kicked in to ensure the adoption of 6 additional drugs candidates into clinical tests. To date, over 100 publications have been authored by Dr. Scott, and he has played a significant role in the patenting of over thirty patents.

In reference to his academic excellence, passion, and hard work, Scott Rocklage has held senior positions in a slew of companies. For instance, in Cubist Pharmaceuticals, he doubled as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

He held the President’s position of Nycomed Salutar, and he was also a senior person Salutar and Catalytica. Before Ilypsa was acquired by Amgen, he served as its executive chairman, and the same applies to Miikana whose ownership eventually transferred to Teleflex.
