His past is already littered with countless examples of this work, but you have to see what he’s been up to recently to really appreciate it. Lacey has the desire to make breakthroughs that will change the way we think about math and how we decide to do just about everything that we’re currently focused upon.

If he can give the world insight into Banach Spaces and other important phenomena, he can do it with other things as well. We’ll understand the true meaning of his work later on after it’s settled in, but we can already see signs that he’s going to have a serious impact on the academic world.
